Race for Life Report

On Sunday 27th June a team of ladies from Shaolin, namely: April Thomas, Karly Ratclifffe, Mandy Xuereb, Lauren Murphy and Michelle Fox, joined thousands of others to run the race for life.

It was a very hot day in Cassiobury Park in Watford. Our team of 5 girls all ran or jogged the distance, finishing with the allocated ‘runners’ in the huge crowd. There was a great atmosphere at the event and we all had a fantastic time.

A big thank you to Kate Last who was unfortunate enough to injure her ankle during training and so couldn’t take part in the race but very kindly came to cheer the team on!

So far we have raised £450 but are really hoping to collect more up until August. So please dig deep and visit our team page…

We look forward to our next team event which will hopefully include the men this time!
